Something for the Weekend: Two Great Sales

The weather forecast for the north-west this weekend is grey and more grey... in other words perfect weather for shopping!

Take your pick from TWO great sales... or maybe just go to both? (It's pay-day after all!)

The Lowry Outlet Mall is hosting a Sample Sale (in conjunction with the Manchester Fashion Network) featuring this impressive range of retailers:

Meanwhile over in Liverpool... The Vintage Fashion Fair is in town. I've been to the Manchester one before and it's well worth a visit. They promise:

6 weeks ago I had the unexpected pleasure of some time off, with my other half. We decided to make sure it was quality time together and to get away from the humdrum of home for a bit. We stayed at the rather lovely Principal York Hotel which, despite it's elegant appearance, was not quite as smoothly run as I'd have hoped, but it all got sorted in the end! Scotland: Argyll & Bute

Today is my birthday - so naturally I took the whole week off to celebrate. What better way to spend it than a trip to one of my favourite places? The west coast of Scotland boasts some truly spectacular scenery. I've been a few times now and I can never get tired of it.
